Summit at DAC 2006
From an ESL technical panel and pavilion panels, to an all-day tutorial, plus the 4th annual tech symposium, Summit has a lot going on at DAC this year. We also are offering product demos, partner demos, and mini-seminars in the Summit suite. We invite you to stop by booth 1028 to see how Summit Design makes SystemC easy!
DAC Technical Sessions, Panels, and Tutorials
The tutorial highlights an architecture-to-implementation design, verification, optimization, and debug methodology, including embedded software development. The introduction will be given by Wolfgang Rosenstiel from University of Tubingen, and includes presentations by ESLX, Forte Design Systems, Summit Design, STMicroelectronics, and Philips Semiconductors.
Summit
hosts this luncheon panel with focus on IP selection and integration in SystemC
designs. This panel is moderated by Daya Nadamuni, EDA Analyst, Research VP,

Demos
At the Summit booth (#1028), you will find demonstrations of the latest enhancements to Vista, Visual Elite, and Panorama. We will also have our partners demonstrating their tools and IP, and how they fit within the Summit platforms.
We are also holding in-depth demonstrations of Vista and Panorama in our demo suites. [Schedule you suite demos]
Mini Seminars
Summit is also hosting informative Mini seminars in its demo suites. These seminars are great way to start or brush up on SystemC, TLM, receive tips from professional trainers, and get in-depth information on IP integration with multiple IP vendors, as well as ESL authoring, debugging, and synthesis flows. Four mini-seminars are available:
1. Lessons in Adopting SystemC (Offered jointly from Summit Design and ESLX)
2.
Introduction to Transaction-Level Modeling
(TLM) (Offered by Summit Design)
3.
4.
ESL Design
Flows (Offered
by our partners, Actis and Forte Design Systems)
5. Integrating SystemC IP (Offered jointly with MIPS and SONICS)
